IMD Warnings and Advisories
The India Meteorological Department has issued several warnings for March 15 and 16:
- Heavy Rainfall: Expected at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Arunachal Pradesh.
- Thunderstorms and Hailstorms: Thunderstorms accompanied by hailstorms, gusty winds (30-40 kmph), and lightning are very likely at isolated places over Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh. Thunderstorms with gusty winds and lightning are also expected over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
- Heat Wave Conditions: Heat wave to severe heat wave conditions are likely at isolated places over Saurashtra & Kutch and Odisha.
